What happened to PH ? Their site is now gone and they're part of AF? What's up with that? No personality on that site - too much clutter. Anybody know why they made the decision to shut down and move over there?

Strange - very strange...

I'm parking over here now!

You'll be much happier here, I think... PH closed or is closing due to money issues, and them members headed to AF.

yeah, I'm planning to park it over here. Your forums suit me just fine ;) Could still use a bit more activity, but I'm patient. I have no doubt that will come with time. How long has this site been around anyway?

PH lost me back in June or July with the Abyss fiasco. The tech forums turned into a bad case of the blind leading the blind, and the constant server weirdness as-of-late made it impossible to post anything. I wish that my 2700+ posts on PH could be transferred to another Honda site ;)

Well put.. The numbers dont mean anything.. Its what you say that shows what you are, the numbers will come soon enough. Its great to see you guys here. I think the sites only been up since about August. So we've grown pretty good in the last 4 months or so.;) ::yes::

i understand that, but let's say i ask a question and somebody with a small post count replays, and at the same time somebody with a high post count replies, who do i believe ? The Guy with higher post count. That means he was around for a while, and he is more knowledgeable. Well ofcourse this is not always true, if u have most of ur posts on Off topic or shifting gears.

I can see your point, but as you know from being around a while. People can know nothing and still have tons of posts... Stinking tricky post whores;)

Usually there will be more then 2 people reply to a post especially if one answer is wrong.

i dont look at post numbers, i look at the quality of their post, and what they have done to their car, so if someone with nothing done, who kinda dosnt sound like they know what they are talking about, with 5000 posts tells you something, or someone with 45 post, and a self installed engine, turbo, cams, etc tells you somethins who do u belive?

Thats not always true either tho.. Look at BDC... He doesnt have many mods.. But he knows what he's talking about..;)

i agree its quality not quantity. the BDC can make a yes or no answer into a big intelligent piece of work

But you have to respect that... Cause a yes or no answer doesnt make you any smarter... but a detailed explanation will.::yes::

its not a matter of how many posts you have.... one person could be a stoopid dummy and just post whore and talk about absolutely nothing be the doode has like 2000+ posts...
on the other hand.. someone with less but has quality and the knowledge could only have a couple hundred not even.... so you should just read what they write and go from there....
i know i dont post all too much and i try to post to my best of my ability... so des that mean you shouldnt trust me or think im an idiot?? the answer is *NO*.... read everyones posts and judge them from there..... i certainly dont think im a dodo;)
