What's up with the ford bashing? yeah, the probe was a real turd, but mustangs are very good cars...probably be my next car. It's the same sh!t if you go to a mustang forum..talking trash about imports. Personally, I have no problem with someone making a car fast, no matter what car it is. he must not know how to drive then...

i remember racing a 4cyl on the highway a few summbers back, it pulled nicely for a 4cly but never had the top end for above 70mph. We just played with him, cause well he kept trying to do the fly by and well he just couldn't catch up to us when we never brought the RL below 80mph. The v6's are nicer cars imho... though i'm not a huge ford fan they do make some nice tq...

They aren't the fastest cars in the world, but neither are civics..that's not the point. just because you have a car that you've put some time and attention into doesn't mean that you've got anything on anyone. don't be a prick-waving-cock-smoker. my buddy had one of those turbo probes... it was quick not fast but way quick... he'd beat my old car and lots of other 4 bangers... problem is though that stock turbo cars get beat on and don't run half as well with 50+k on them as na car will...

oh and scorch... have you ever been in a new mustang... or an old one... you are aware that they have 10000x more potential than a honda does for about 1/3 of the cost. Sure lots are shit boxes... and there aren't a lot of shit box civics? does that make your car lame or a 10 sec honda slow? NO... does the fact that there's .4 liters less displacement in the new mustang block make it any less superior to ALL of honda's cars in everything but economy? NO...

unfortunately, I'd have to agree with that 90% idea. I went to a meet for some So Cal mustang club with my roommate a couple weeks ago, and with the exception of only a few, everyone there were dikheads. I wouldn't say that ricer a55holes are any less common, though. My theory is and always has been that these people who brag about their shit and put down what other people have is just an attempt to overcompensate for having a small prick.

Take your average ricer (and I mean that as any car, import or not, that looks like it fell in a junk heap and some of it stuck to the car) driving down the road with his bigass double decker wing (primered, of course), body kit that looks like it's been stapled or super glued on (also with a fresh coat of primer) bling bling altezzas, stickers all over the car, those nifty little lighted replacements for your winshield wiper sprayers, badge that proclaims this pimpin-ass vehicle to be the super special Type R-SS-EX-BS-POS-U2RSOL (only one made, don't ya know)..not to mention the fart canon hanging off the back of the car that is so ****ing big it has moons circling it.....I suppose he would be driving down the street and thinking "thank god I'm part of the 10% that looks really spiffy" I guess it is all in your point of view. If you don't agree with that, go to your local insane asylum and try to convince the people there that they are crazy.
