if he lets his parents decide who he can and cannot see then he's not worth your time. If at the age of 18-19-20 his parents stiill rule his life, llet him see what its like without you around. He needs to do a little bit of growing up and if you mean that much to him his parents wont stand in the way. He should be speaking up and defending the relationship the two of you have. I already dont like the guy... sounds like he has no balls.

I am sorry if things truly dont work out, you're a great girl so dont get all depressed about not having him in your life. If hes not able ot defend you when his parents say 'dont date her' then hes not worth your time.

biker you beat me to it.........I mean I can understand....but yeah there's definately gotta be a line where you stand up and do somethin on your own for your better good.....it's kind of my situation....but it's not because religion plays into it...so it's very different....but if my family said no to me....and i wanted to be with someone....noone could stop me...i'd tell'em straight out how i feel about what they're sayin to me about the person i wanna be with

the dude is in uni right now, that should make him 19 or 20. He's grown up...

well the thing is hes going off to college in august so he has to save his money he cant move out and i dunno i think he might need to grow up a little, i think moving out and being on his own will help.

:yes: Sometimes its hard to live with parents, especially when its.. "If you live in our house, you live by our rules!" Only he knows what he wants. If they are that against you two being together then he needs to decide what he wants to do. He needs to sit down and talk to them, maybe try to come up with a compromise some how.

Try not to let this get you down to much, I know its hard.. But its really not worth destroying your world over. Your still young, you need to enjoy life for what it is. The older you get the more youll miss these days. Try not to make your past something that you regret.
