i'm using adobe premeir 6.5 to edit movies... and then i want to use Nero to burn them to DVDs... however, Nero only will write .ifo, .vob, or .bup file types onto DVDs... how can i get adobe premeir to export this file type? thank you.

well just save it as a mpg then create a video cd from nero. i'm not sure if nero allows dvd burning. there is some software on tiger direct that gets the mpg/avi/mov formats and burns them as a regulard dvd

do you happen to know the name of any of those programs...
nero allows it, it just needs these funky file formats to burn to a dvd.

hmm i dunno but do a search on dvd burning software. that's how i came up with the name, plus i've seen it in their catalogs but in my organized mess i don't feel like digging for one:no:

do you know if i just go about it as if i'm burning a video cd, and just burn it onto a DVD, will it play in DVD players?

most of the dvd players will play vcd formats, but i think they need to be mpeg2, but don't qote me on that. i know my dvd doesn't play mpeg1 thou
