Yes so i have a 2002 civic ex and i want a fast car.. or fast-er at least. I'm looking to get a turbo, but i haven't found any turbo kits out on the market ;( . I was talking to hondaman about this but i'm wondering what info there is on a 7th gen turbo kit.

If none are out, whats the deal with custom turbo's:confused:

well what people normally mean by custom turbos is piecing together their own set to meet their own demands. You choose the turbo/flange piping, BOV, wastegate (if not internal), mandrel bent pipes, intercooler, etc... If you have time, piece together your own kit.. but if you dont have time, then you would probably have to wait for greddy or someone to put together a kit

junk yards mostly...or you can buy new parts individually
the manifold and other pipes are gonna have to be custom fabbed from a machine shop or a really good exhuast shop (not midas/tuffy/mineke)
then youre going to have to find a way tune the air/fuel (safc, fmu, etc)

well after some searching, apparantly there are at least 2 turbo kits out now, but name brands like greddy etc. are not producing one due to low demand.

if you have the d16y7 (I think) the vtec ex motor you can just get a kit for the d16z6 and it'll fit with some MINOR changes.
