suggestions..help???

yeh i'm thinkin of paint my hub caps some differnte color...maybe black or gun metal or somethign coo....i've seen ppl jus keep their wheels on witout hubs and paint them black....i have rimz but one is macked up and i dont have ne money to gget a new one...and i hate hubs and stock shit..so i was thinkin y not paint the hubs or wheels....what color should i paint it....and what should i paint keep the wheels wit hubs and paint those or jus paint the wheels like silver or something...and how would u go on doin this..ne suggestions or ideas...thanx..

yeah, I took the hubcaps off of my crap rims and they looked ten times better. I sprayed the rims using black engine enamel and bought new shiny lug nuts and they look awesome, for not spending much money.

yeh i think that would look hot...now jus tell me how to do this step by step...what kinda products do i need and how do i paint them...do i need to toake tires off cuz i dont kon how to do that...and should i paint thelugs....ne thign else..lemme kno..thanx bro

Well let's see first take you wheels off the car and wash any dirt off of them. Then get some light sand paper and sand up the rims so that the primer and paint will stick to it better. Clean off the wheels again and let dry. You don't have to take the tire off the rim(i didn't). I just got some masking tape and newspaper and covered the tire so overspray wouldn't get on it. Spray on a couple of coats of primer and let dry then two or three coats of spray paint...i used duplicolor on mine. And i left my lugnuts chrome. I use the steelies for racing and they look good.

When I take off my wheels I dont put my hubcaps back on, I just role my black steelies, hubcaps suck!. :yes:

use engine enamel for your paint. Its pretty durable and holds up well. walmart paint sucks!
