is it worth "blocking" this off.....hondamaniac said he did...and it "felt like i added a 100 horse" LOL does it really Add....Or restore horse? where exactly is the EGR valve?

Well, if you don't want to block them off, clean the ports out. I saw several posts on SH back in the day where people looked and they were almost completely clogged with carbon deposits. I plan on doing this when I have some time, its not that hard.

no it's on the egr valve. and i had lots of carbon on it.

p.s.: EGR systems only operate at crusing speeds, they never operate under full throttle accel

Hey Stefan, did your car throw a CEL after doing the EGR mod? I'd rather just disconnect mine instead of clean it.

nope no CEL. mine is connected and all but underneath it has the sheet metal from a beer can so it's canceled
