I've never seen any super gold halogen , Plasma looks similar to real HID (sort of purplish tint) and the only thing brighter I know of is real HID.

gold is...well goldish (ever watch those night races on speed channel?)
hiper white or hyper white is what most knock-offs are, the beam is blue-ish but some are decent (streetglows are not bad, I vouch for em)
plasma is a very bright white color and very very nice...sylvania silverstars is an example
(anyone correct me if i got the plasmas and the hipers mixed up)

wire your lights with a better relay... it'll make them brighter.. you could also get a painless wiring kit to use h4 bulbs instead of 9006 if yours doesn't have h4's already.

2002 civic have already the h4. i heard there are wiring harnesses that increase the brightness. is it really noticeable? the kits i seen from APC (bleh) are 50 bucks

okay..well.. does it increase the voltage or is it a waste of time?

those "kits" are just wires and a relay... that's what I was talking about earlier... you can pay whatever the cost of that kit or you can spend 20 bucks max on all the wire connectors and realy you need... instructions for it are all over the place...
YES it makes your lights brighter... instead of your lights being on the alt. power supply it's on the bat. so it gets a fixed and more stable voltage.
