apexi greddy or blitz gauges
Air/fuel
boost
oil temp
maybe more if you think so, but I'd run those (basics)

i think if you have a turbo, they can be usful up there...cause ya gotta know wahts going on with your car at all times...i think that if you're using them for your gas meter, and your engine temp, and all the stock stuf, then, i consider that rice.

I raced some older civic with a bunch of guages today, I hope he lost cause he was paying too much attention to them, and not because he has a slooow ass car that sounds like someone with diarreah.
And of course after I slow down from 70mph in a 40, he flysby and then turns on his emergency lights. Maybe his gas guage was low and he was trying to let me know:confused:

if youve got the parts to back up the gauges, then its not rice...but if theyre just there to look cool, then yeah theyre rice.
running N/A monsters still calls for gauges too (oil temp/pressure, water, A/F, and a big ass fuel one for the kid AZ raced today lol)

I think your talking about pillar guages... and I think they're gay... Imean if you have NO where else to put guages then It's ok but they look dumb when you drive by some dude with a guage pillar and a 7" tach on the dash...
as far as autometer being crappy... far from it... they are the leading supplier in the after market... I believe both greddy and apexi outsource their guages to autometer (IE autometer made them.).. I'm not possitive but I know LOTS of people who say use nothing other than autometer.
OH and don't sit here looking for peoples aproval... think about it and make up your OWN mind...
Sometimes you just like things in the begining when you first see them... after a while you realize they're gay... give it some thought if you like them then get'em.
Not much usful you could put in there though w/o turbo or nitros.
voltage
oil temp
oil pressure
but they would be essentially useless because your honda won't run right if ANY of those are off.
