Two seperate questions:
1. What is ITR mean?
2. What does lower or raising your compression ratio do? performance wise/throttle response wise/ ect. wise?

1.) Integra Type R
2.)Low compression = good to add presurization (aka BOOST), High compression = good for NA (normal aspiration).
simply put:
if you take your stock honda engine and raise the compression, you will go faster.
if you lower your compression, you can add more boost safely to your engine w/out blowing it up.

1. Integra Type-R
2. Raising compression ratio increases the pressure of air/fuel in the combustion chamber, resulting in more power. Boost applications require lower compression ratios to prevent detonation.
