Your friend is a complete jackass - of corse he will get caught. One of my rims has slight curb damage. If my wheels were ever stolen, and i saw the same modle wheels on another car, i could tell if they were mine. Not to mention i would destroy the car they were on!

Yes the cops "CAN" get involved. Yes someone will see him (eventually) who knows whos car it is, or owns a particular car...if that person can keep a level head...they will call the cops...if not your friend will 1) get shot 2) get his ass beat within and inch of his life 3) number 2 and cops 4) all of the above
