I'm getting my custom turbo done here in the next week or so.

I need to know which is a better style and why. The log style doesn't seem to be as efficent to me as far as style, but I could be wrong.

Any pointers are appreciated. Also, any brands that you might recommend.

best place to visit is www.homemadeturbo.com man. They do all custom stuff. Here bro, check this out:

The only thing I recommend is for you to get a manifold that has the wastegate pipe coming off from all the piping, vice from just one pipe or exhaust port. It's disturbing to have just one port to have the wastegate piping, since velocity is different amongst each piping. Look at the SFP and in-line pro manifold. Those I think are the best design.

log is not effecient at flowing, however it is a constant pressure design. your turbo will spool almost instantaniously. equal lenth is the shit, because it will flow so good at high rpms, creating more power than a asmatic log style. a *little more lag than a log, but its pros deffinatley outway the cons. hope that helped.

I agree with the equal length style......

Your comments on the equal length are correct, but I would like to point out that it is only correct for a true equal length. Many companies claim to have an equal length manifold but they are not.
