Would this fit on my car
LIP..click me (http://www.wingswest.com/products_detail.asp?page=1&id=387)
everybody always says that a 92-95 OEM civic lip fits on the del sol perfectly, so why wouldn't an aftermarket one fit?

The 92-95 civic lips fit, but it's close. There is a small gap at either corner. Still looks nice though, I have one on my car.

Speaking of your car.
is it all done now.
and.....how hard do you think it would be to fit that lip on my car.

It's not too hard to fit. It just doesn't fit perfect. My car was done until a chunk of ice shattered the lip this morning. I'm also waiting for my rims to arrive. I hope they get here soon since Import Revolution Chicago is coming this weekend. My new lip is getting painted as we speak too.

Hey guys
I can answer this one from experience... this might be kinda long story but bear with me..
My dad knows this guy who owns a shop where he restores mangled cars that he buys at auctions..
well my dad told the guy that I'm into cars and the guy (Alex) told me to come hang out down there and that I could work on any projects there for free..
About a month ago I bought a 92-95 CTR lip for my Sol, thinking it would fit perfectly and I took it and my stock bumper down to the shop to work on it over Spring Break. Well..little did I realize that the Civic lip is almost 2" WIDER than my stock Sol bumper!!
I had to cut it in half and wrap part of the sides around the edge of the bumper a little to make it fit but it worked...such a pain in the ass though! And LOTS of custom body work..about 10 packs of J.B. weld. I really learned a lot about body work from the project though :rambo:
Anyhow, I am at school right now but will post pics later tonight. It turned out really sexy.. I love it!!
P.S. I don't know if this is true for all lips or just the CTR.

yes it was the CTR lip. But what i dont understand is why a stock civic lip fits fine but the CTR is almost 2" too wide?
