I went to the AEM website and found that they had a V2 CAI for my car but at the bottom it says manual trans only. Shouldnt it be able to fit manual and automatics? Also, i wanna make my own clear corners but i cant get the amber plastic out of my corner lens. It has a screw to take it off but it is sealed shut. Somebody told me something about putting it in the oven to melt the sealant. Can I do this and if so, how? Thanks.

LOL DO not put it in the OVEn.....u should be able to just pop off the seal....or just spend 20 bucks or so for the right clear corners..

Well I have put many lights in the oven to melt the seal. It works okay but you have to be careful. The Ideal thing to do is get a heat gun and use that to melt the sealant.

Hmmm the oven method really works.......... I used it to clear out my front lights on my 98 Accord......... and it's not crazy as long as you follow this tutorial that I did for putting them in the oven......... (use lot of aluminum foil)

and everything will be OK ;) and you save few bucks

whatever about the oven, but i heard about the v2, i think its a gimmick, sound waves make the air flow better, sounds like BS to me and you spend $50 more than a regualr CAI. Ask stefan about it since he sells aem intakes.

I want to get a clear corner and bumper lens. But I can't do by myself. Because it could be worse. I need to ask person to do it in the factory to install the parts at my car.
