www.sohfast.com is respectable, but expensive. very expensive.
www.jdmhondaparts.com is ok.
sometimes www.groupbuycenter.com has buys on JDM engines, which is always nice. if i happen upon anymore links i will post em up for y00.

Please do not use Sohfast, I have heard some very bad stories about their motors. I have heard of several, not just a few people receiving stolen motors from them. When I was looking for my swap, every shop in Cali that sold them did not have any, he had 4, why, cause no one wnated to use him cause of previous problems.
go here to here about many different shops and peoples experiences.

I've personally dealt with Jerome Soh of Sohfast, and I'd reccomend them. The problems he's encountered were NOT of him selling known stolen motors, rather, the suppliers of his engines were obtaining stolen motor and Jerome didn't verify all of them, hence he ran into problems when some of the motors he sold were traced back to their original cars which were stolen. Not Jerome's fault...::no::

that's what i also heard, he's very professional in doing business and i don't think he is a crook.

well i just got my gsr engine on friday from import auto salvage..
i paid $3650 shipped (if this engine is in pretty sweet condition, i think i had a good deal coz the prizes on engines are ridicoulously rising)... so far the engine looks tight; everything i need for a swap seems to be there... i cant drop it in just yet coz im still waiting for the clutch to replace it.. i will keep you updated.
thanks...
