well apparently he though he was fast, but all I have to say is that shifting at around 4000-5000 RPM up until 5th gear, then downshifting back to 4th gear always seems to catch them off guard, it's always great to watch their headlights shrink in my rear view mirror, also I am mean but I enjoyed pulling back then pulling out infront of him numerous times, it never gets old
..thank god for the VTEC Manual:cigar:

i really dont think he was trying if it was an auto, prolly a manual with a shitty driver that was short shifting it like you hard to **** up driving an auto, my boys 96 auto would catch my freinds old 91 gt mustang off guard that was modded and my 88 gt too, it take us a bit to run him down if he flew past us, and i know for a fact i would dust a accord pretty nice with that ride.

maybe, I'm sure it was an automatic, but the point is he tried and lost hah, that's that

if you say so:rolleyes: im just saying a car that traps at 90+mph would beat a car that traps in the 80's ESPECIALLY if you were short shifting, and since THERE IS BASICALLY NO ROOM FOR DRIVER ERROR ON AN AUTOMATIC FROM A ROLL, if it was a short race for like 20-30 mph then YES that would definetly be possible, but for EXTENDED periods of speed it would be more unlikely

but you seem cool enough and look like you know your place on the food chain, im just saying dont get cocky cause this was prolly a fluke, just to let you know those maximas even the same year as your car had just under 100hp more, so dont throw down money by any means ;)

well there was traffic and he almost got in 4 wrecks tryign to weave, that was the only time he got ahead, when i backed off to avoid having to be risky, it's possible
but I definatly had him off the line, and had him in the end, going probably around 90mph

Im a very non cocky kinda, and I understand my car isnt exactly too quick (if at all), but in a street race there are obstacles and i realize he could've beat me, so hey $h!t happens

dead stop??? damn bro good job:yes: i want a piece of you ex.... EX VS. the HEEP dead stop ;)

thats even harder to believe but whatever i wasnt there, all im saying is that even the auto 95's are faster than you car exhaust or not, so it was pure drivers race, and seeing as you were short shifting and he was behind he was prolly just doing the same as you and not going all out

I wouldn't say that. The Accords aren't slow. In street racing anything can happen.........

i'd race him on my stock 95se auto :)

hey I don't BS, trust me do I look like a BS'er to you:pfft:
there was alot of traffic and he was not a good driver, he almost got into 4 wrecks, it involved me downshifting quite alot though, but he stayed nearly on my tail the entire way, maybe there was somethign wrong with the car, I don't know
and thank you Addict for the support, the fact is I raced and I won, and in street racing, it involves the car and the driver, apparently I was the better driver, thank you

he must of gotten his license a few days ago then.. maybe your right it was a drivers race.. not a cars race.. if it was a str8 ahead the outcome most probably would of been different
