I have a friend that wants to get rid of his nitrous that was on his escort. He has about $700 worth of stuff to sell me for $400.

My question is what all do I need to run a 50-70 shot on my motor? I need someone to be exact.

BTW it's a Holley/NOS wet kit single fogger.

wet kit single fogger??? HUH?? get the part number...

there are two wet kit.. one is direct port, and one is a plate kit.. the NOS single fogger is dry.... UNLESS its the one for turbo.. in that case you do NOT want it..

oh and by the way.. you do NOT need ANY upgrades... 50-60 shot tops.. ive only jetted a 70 shot a couple time.. i wouldn't spray that much..

sorry that's what he told me. It's a single nozzle so I'm assuming a dry kit.

also would a fuel pressure regulator benefit me?

nope fuel pressure regulator would do not that much.. INDIVIDUAL fuel components are only SO good.. since it is a WHOEL system..picture is as the heart and blood stream of the car... heart = fuel pump... you can open one part up as much as you want.. if the rest can only flow so much it doesn't matter... i have had nitrous for a year and a half.. and love it.. works great.. i to have an NOS kit..

Dude, i was gonna do nitrous, but its just not worth it, there is no reason to put the 850+$$ into your motor for all the NOS stuff you need to do it "right".

Everytime you spray, you slowly erode you engine internals. And every time you spray, you risk totaly destroying your car.

good analogy, how often do you spray/whats your shot? I was gonna do NOS, but figured i'd wanna use it all the time.

ive been through a little over 45 bottles been spraying for a year and a half.. NOT ONE PROBLEM YET... and for me to "do it right" cost 450.. the cost of the kit..

How many times a day do you spray/how long do you wait between sprays?

Oh yeah, how much is your shot??

60-70, had the kit for a year and a half.. and a little over 45 bottles a FULL bottle gives you like 3 minutes.. times 60 thats 180 seconds the typical time spraying in a race is like 12 seconds roughly... so do the math.. lol a LOT of nitrous has been through my single cam and not a problem yet..

yeah and this dude has all kinds of stuff like a bottle blanket, pressure gauge, bigger polished/chrome solenoids, and all the jets. and as we speak it's sitting in the car with a full bottle. so I think $400 is a good price.

What are you using to cut back your spark?

I've looked at it and it looks brand new so I think I'll buy it whether I'll use it or not. If not then I can sell it for more than I paid for it. He wanted more but he's in a situation right now and needs money bad.

not needed till like a 75 80 shot, at that point you have two choices.. MSD ignition box with an auto retard hooked to the solonoid, OR just nocking the timing back a little ...

the most important thing is colder plugs... i have STOCK ngk plugs but they are ONE heat range colder, and run 94 octane gas when i spray... i have NO pinging, NO detonation...
