You gotta be in 2nd gear. Then you have the option to upload a picture.

and second gear comes at either 50 or 55 posts if i'm not mistaken

2nd gear comes at 100 posts but you only have to have 50 i think till you can upload a custom avatar. I still use one off the main thing cause im too lazy to change it
