civic cd player problems

I own a 2000 civic EX, with the stock one disc cd player. The other day i put in a cd, and all of a sudden it said "E" for error, and ejected the disc. This happens on all cd's burned or bought! It was just working fine last week, then this started to happen all of a sudden. Any ideas on whats going on????

maybe the heads are dirty. try cleaning it up and if not i think your cd player is still under warranty from honda

not sure, but the day i brought my car home i realized that the cd player didnt work at all :mad: so i took it back to them and they simply gave me a new one, didnt tell me what was wrong, try calling the dealership see if they can look at it for free

well i do have a disc that cleans the heads, etc. but it won't take it, just like any other cd, it just spits it right out!
