This is going to sound disgusting but I just ate Spahgettios and applesauce mixed together and I highly recommend it.

Um, my friend is 8 months pregnant. She likes to eat weird stuff and she makes me try it. I'm pretty much fearless when it comes to trying new stuff. It was good. I wouldn't lie.

I'll try that. Sounds kind of good. Sweet taste of apples mixed in with the saucy taste of spagettios....mmmm

Ok, I'm not sure if you're busting on me or not but that's really how it is! The kind w/o the little meatballs. They offset eachother nicely.

No I am totally serious. I'll will try that. I seems like it may not be all that bad.

Jufranpnoy
03-18-2003, 11:47 AM
Yeah I will try it too if my house ever has them at the same time. My mom is funny. She will buy cereal, but no milk; Peanut butter but no jelly or fluff; hot dogs but no hot buns. She is a riot.

I used to put duck sauce on everything...pizza, french fries, hamburgers, to name a few. :)

I always thought that escargot would be absolutely disgusting but I had it not too long ago and it was so good. It was prepared in a sauteed garlic sauce and served with a little bit of cheese in a pastry. mmmmm. But I mean if you think about it...How could can snails really be? But then again, that's is considered a delicacy and we're talking about Spahgettios and applesauce.

Ugh!!! Snails!!! :pukey Now you went too far. Just kidding Count me out for ever trying snails.

SolPol

Duck sauce makes me :pukey

Try Burger King chicken tenders with Tartar sauce that they use for the fish sandwiches. I used to work there many moons ago and I lived on that.

No, but they were good. Not what I expected snails to taste like.

Ok, I left some on your car for you last night. I'm just kidding. Oh man. You know that parking garage right across from the civic center? We got stuck on the 6th floor of that for I kid you not, almost and hour and a half. My friend has a DVD player in his car and we watched Goldmember almost in it's entirety. That parking garage sucks. It is way too unorganized.

cashizslick
03-19-2003, 10:05 AM
It sure is, just try being on the top floor after the falcons play the ice cats - that's packed as well.

msvtec14

Next time I go there, I will not be parking in that garage. I'll tell you that much.

The next time that I am there, I will have to do that. In addition to bringing your Spahgettios and applesauce to you. I wonder if anyone actually tried it.

SolPol
03-19-2003, 02:13 PM
If I had some applesauce I might. I do LOVE spaghettiOs. And applesauce for that matter. Can ya use cinnamon apple sauce? 'Cause cinnamon is the best

If you try BK chicken tenders with tartar sauce, I will try that;)

msvtec14
03-19-2003, 02:28 PM
You want to know what else is good? Those honey bbq twisty Fritos dipped in plain cream cheese. I'll try the chicken tenders w/the tartar sauce tomorrow for lunch. I'm not trying to east fast food this late in the day. I suppose that you can use the cinnamon applesauce.

here is my weird food, dip almost everything in BBQ sauce, except for stuff that wouldent be good with it. but i love that stuff... mmmmmmmmmm BBQ

msvtec14
03-19-2003, 04:27 PM
That is how I am with honey mustard and sometimes blue cheese. Not mixed together but I just like putting it on stuff.

SolPol
03-19-2003, 05:57 PM
Plain Fritos with sour cream is also good. Been doing that since I was a kid.

Man, BBQ, honey mustard, ketchup, mayo, you can always put at least one of those on pretty much anything you eat.

Grilled cheese dipped in ketchup is really good. Hell, whenever my mom made me grilled cheese she always gave me a carrot too. I would dip that in ketchup too.

I suppose that you can use the cinnamon applesauce.

Thank you :)

I put ketchup on mac and cheese sometimes. A little on the top. Yeah, if I have any food that would "normally" involve ketchup then everything gets put in it. And when I have breakfast with home fries and all that, the toast gets put in there too.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 08:31 AM
You're making me hungry. Toast and home fries and egg always get all mixed together

And ketchup on mac and cheese is awesome

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 08:54 AM
I get my breakfast w/the eggs over easy and then toast goes in the yolk and the ketchup but then when the yolk and toast are gone then the remaining portion of the eggs and the home fries are mixed together w/the ketchup.

Man, now I need to go to a diner. That sounds just about perfect to me.

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 09:04 AM
Nah. I'm still full from the bangin dinner that I had last night. I had a NY strip steak (rare) w/this wild rice and sauteed mushrooms.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 09:08 AM
Nice. I'm sorry, I just don't see that many girls that eat steak rare. That's awesome.

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 09:17 AM
Hell yeah! I don't like it cooked at all. I want to try steak tartar, which is completly raw. When I went out to dinner on Saturday, the restaurant that I ate at had it but it was for an appitizer and I was getting steak for dinner so I couldn't go overboard with the steak. When it's cooked, it just sucks and it loses all the flavor and seasoning. Raw stuff kicks ass. Sushi. Clams on the halfshell. Oysters. mmmmm.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 09:26 AM
Don't know much about the other stuff, but I do like my cow to still be mooing when it's served to me

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 09:29 AM
Well, if you ever get the chance...try them out. I like to eat different stuff. You'd be surprised.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 09:33 AM
I think I had some oysters with booze in them once.

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 09:45 AM
Weird. I'm trying to think what kind of booze would go good with oysters. Maybe something like a bloody mary? That would work.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 09:47 AM
I dunno, I thought it was like vodka or something. It was at a 4th of July party and I was pretty damn wasted already so who remembers?

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 01:05 PM
Oysters while you're wasted :o One time I ate the clams on the half shell and got sick as a dog. Whew. But anyway, we're having a meet soon in CT and you're in the New England area so you should come and check it out if you want.

Where in CT? I got some friends that live in I think Avon. And I was born in Stamford.

BTW, just got back from lunch at the diner. Two eggs overeasy, toast, some home fries and corned beef hash. Ohhhh, it was good.

msvtec14

I was just in Stamford Saturday. We will be meeting near the Berlin Turnpike which is pretty much central CT.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 01:29 PM
I'm hoping to have it painted mid April so maybe that is doable. I'd like to get up to meet some of the folks. Only been here a few monthes but it's good times :)

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 02:28 PM
Yeah but who cares if your car is painted? It's not a show :) We're all just meeting up and we're going to shoot the shit and drive around. No big deal.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 02:31 PM
That's true, I just HATE the paint the way it is now. If you saw it you would understand. Anyway, it's probably not too bad of a drive for me so I'll probably come check it out. Keep me posted on it.

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 02:52 PM
Well, what's wrong with the paint? Want to hear what happened to my Accord? The paint that I have (which is the stock color) is that weird 2 toned green. It's looks a grayish/purple in some angles. Well, in 00 I got rearended and I needed a new bumper and a portion of the side (towards the back on the drivers side) had to get repainted. The guy who painted it did a terrible job and didn't match the paint for shit. I started noticing that it didn't look good in certain angles in bright light and then it faded and looked like total ass. When I got my body kit on, my new and amazing auto body guy was nice enough to repaint the whole side of the car (perfectly, I might add) for no additional cost because I give him so much business between myself and people I refer to him.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 03:08 PM
That's a bonus. I had that trouble with my old CRX actually so I went a whole new color. Same rear quarter panel too. Then I had to get a new driver door because mine broke. So I found a white one in a junkyard. Just the door and window though. So I had to switch the door card, belt, mirror and handle. Got a new rear bumper cover too since mine was cracked. But my car was blue so it looked like a SmurfMobile. So I did a bunch of bondo work and primered it. Your solution sounds better. Still got a pic even though I sold it a while back.

Now, about the del Sol, there's nothing wrong with the paint itself. It's the scheme.

I wanted a del Sol Si VTEC DOHC. So I looked for a while and found almost nothing around me. Well, after a while I did find a pretty nice one in good shape and had just been completely fixed up mechanically and body wise. Only problem was, the guy had bought it for his daughter before the wife decided she didn't want the daughter driving such a small car (unsafe or something). The guy had painted it for her already though and get this, it was black to begin with, so he gets it repainted black and then puts this wierd purple coat over it. I got some pics, it's hideous though.

And that's just the start, you should see the rest. I already took the trunk off that was even wierder, gotta find the pic. And I have a VIS CF Invader hood in my den right now.

msvtec14
03-20-2003, 03:50 PM
It's not that bad. You have some black in there so it's ok. If your car was pink or something, then I might have brought some jokes.

SolPol
03-20-2003, 03:54 PM
Yeah, it could definitely be way worse, and most of the time I don't mind. It's not that big a deal. Check out this trunk though.

So, what do you have on there for a trunk?

SolPol
03-21-2003, 09:47 AM
Got a black one from a junkyard with holes already drilled for the OEM wing. Got a wing off of ebay and they are on there now. Unfortunately it doesn't quite fit right, so when I get it painted I will put the original back on and have them paint it. Should be fun.

msvtec14
03-21-2003, 11:09 AM
What color are you looking to do?

SolPol
03-21-2003, 11:14 AM
I dunno, I had a few choices in mind, but with the CF hood, I'm thinking it might just be easier to stay with the black. It would look the best that way I think. My rims are black too.

msvtec14
03-21-2003, 12:32 PM
Yeah, but you could always paint it a "real" color and just use the 2 color as your interior color scheme as well and that's always hot.

SolPol
03-21-2003, 01:13 PM
Wait, what do you mean? What 2 color?

03-21-2003, 01:31 PM
Um...hmmm...I'm not sure. Oh, because we started talking about all kinds of food and stuff and then the Northeast HS meet and his car and my car and so on and so forth.

SolPol...you know how someone will have a green car and then do the interior color scheme green and white or something? If you do just the black on the exterior then you could just do black and whatever on the interior. But if you have a black hood and lets say a red car, then the interior color scheme would be identical to the exterior.

SolPol
03-21-2003, 02:25 PM
Oh, I got it now, thanks. I can't have a red car, not me, but I'm still thinking. It'll probably end up black though.

msvtec14
03-21-2003, 02:30 PM

The worst thang I was ever dared to eat was either....a pencil....or this drink my friends dared me and my best friend to drink it, she didn't tho because i gagged because there was something chunky in my mouth, but all that was in it was....rum, vodka, milk, choco milk, relish, eggs, honey mustard, ketchup, ice cream, 3 types of pop, butter, whipped cream, jello, honey mustard, sugar, and a bunch more stuff, basically anything we could find in the fridge. but i downed it and then i stood there for a min and i felt something chunky and thats y i gagged, lol. everyone said my breath smelled like puke, i drank like a whole thing of mouth wash, lol

Someone dared me to eat a catipillar when I was a freshman in high school and I did.
