She could get rid of it and get a car instead.

Well, she should check that her tires have the correct air pressure in them for one thing, not only will underfilled tires affect the ride and wear of the tires, but it hurts mileage.

what else.... :) any parts to add, like an intake, or better flow in the exhaust?

thats a nice truck

does she have a 5.9? those are beasts...
and if gas mileage is an issue... she should have never gotten this truck

anyways... id like to have one... i'd put on some chrome rims to make it look better too....

i dont think that any simple bolt on will show significant gas mileage improvement.. remember.. its a big V8
big V8's are hungry and you gotta feed em

Okay, durangos are gas hogs! Mom and Dad have a 2000 its rediculous.. But small things help a little, get a K&N drop in filter and keep it clean.. Change all the fluids regularly.. It helps reduce friction in the motor and help with gas mileage a little.

Other then that.. There really isnt a whole lot you can do.

any part you get ie chip or exhaust intake etc... will either (exhaust/intake) increase air flow (if the computer is any good it will add MORE gas) or in the case of a chip... they don't make fuel saver chips... in most cases chips will DUMP fuel in to run you real rich everywhere....

She's stuck with a fuel hog.

didn't anyone tell her teh bigger the motor the more gas it uses? The ONLY thing she really can do is drive like a granny and never get on it.

I'm sure she could trade it in for a civic (eww) or something with a smaller motor.
