You ever wonder if we're all going to die of brain cancer from all this time we spend on cell phones?

I must admit i'm trying to reduce how much time i spend on my cell phone because of this concern and also the fact that a phone can chew up alot of your free time.

I just got one. only for work, but I barely use it. It has proven very useful when I'm out on delivery and no one told me what apartment to go to.

But yeah, I love this new digital system, cause It uses so much less power. My phone will last four or five days on one battery!

I use it 1 hour or less on a typical day.... but I don't have a normal phone.

I dont even use mine more than 100 minutes/month...so Im not worried about brain cancer...
plus dont most new flip style phones have built in blockers to reflect many waves (I hear nextel is big on this)

I generally use it one hour or less, unless it is long distance like to my brother or long distance friends. If it is local, I have the philosophy that if you can talk to me for over an hour on the phone, hell we could meet up and do it in person.

I'm one of those 1-2 hour people. I have phone at my house too. People used to always call my house and then my cell phone when I wouldn't be home to take their call. But I think that they all just got lazy or something because they all just call my cell first now. I always vowed never to depend on a cell phone but now I freak out if I don't have it on me.

I dunno. I like to think that because most of my calls are through Nextel Direct Connect and I use my phone like a walkie talkie that I am not that susseptable (I killed that word spelling wise...haha) to cancers of the brain. I literally use it ALL the time. I even posted my DC #here, haha, AND on my home answering machine I am like "I can ALWAYS ALWAYS be reached on my phone at...."

it depends, if im on my nights and weekends thing ill use my cell phone if its long distance (i hate how MS has their long distance things divided, I cant call 15 minutes away w/o it being long distance) then i try to stay on for maybe 45 minutes.

Ya it gets tiring sometimes. But if it is someone I dont want to talk to all I gotta do is press the "End" button and voice mail takes care of it.
