I am working on getting pics of the non-kitted one, but here is my favorite kitted sol:

My favorite non-kitted sol was a bagged/slammed sol painted a nice NSX Spa Yellow. Very nice. One of the few cars I have seen low enough for my standards. ;)

I've even got a CF hood. Invader, but still. I think it would look good. I've got black D Power Dronell 16s too.

I can't find no one to paint my car though :no:

and yes josh's car is the nicest del sol's around IMHO.

I found out last night I might be able to get a really cheap paint job from a guy one of my roommates works with. He works at a body shop and this guy is one of the painters. He does the best work at that place and is supposed to be pretty damn good.

He's gonna do it on the side and just wants practice, so we may rent out the booth at the place one day and do it up. My roommate and I would be helping him, so I may get a really good deal.

Josh's sol is actually not orange. it is milano red, the quality of those pics is kinda crappy because it looks orange. hahah.

i saw it at HIN earlier this year and talked to josh, he doesnt remember me though i'm sure, though his car does look very very nice and very clean in person.

i wonder if he will enter his car into HIN in july up here? that would be sweet. i am thinking of entering my car into the show, but i dont have a whole lot done to it. only thing would be that i'm planning on an OEM cf hood within a month or so.

thanks, but do you think it would hold up to the competition at HIN? I mean i've seen pretty bad looking cars there. In fact last time i went to HIN there was a blue Sol and all it had done to it was altezza's :pukey

so i think i have a chance, but then i think about all the big ballers there and i have doubts. haha

Exactly, it would depend on competition. It is a very nice, clean looking car. Looks pimp.

thanks :) i am actually taking a break right now from my most recent project.. i painted my valve cover gunmetal to match my wheels.. i know i know, painting valve covers is :pukey but at least it's not bright blue or i dunno...pink or something.

i'll have pics later tonight for anyone who's interested.

Best of luck running in a show with a del sol. The HIN guys classify del sols as 2 door Civics. Being that Civics are about the most common cars at HIN It's hard to compete with a sol. Trust me I have a sol that is built to the max, turboed, custom painted and the whole nine yards and I can't even place at HIN. Wish you the best of luck though.

Also I should add that a lot of what I saw this year at HIN was not even close to my car, the del sol with just altezza's. i think there was also just a stock mid 80's celica just to take up space..guess they didn't have enough entrys..
