if you remove the H emblem, you are going to have holes in your trunk.
just use a hair dryer and pry off the LX emblem. then use some goo gone or watered down degreaser and rub off the rest of the goop, then wash the area with some water that you just degreased.

got a buffer?
wash your car and just give the whole thing a go over with some polishing and then a nice wax job - should restore the bling bling to any faded areas and make it so you cant see the LX thing anymore.

so are you going to shave the holes or just leave them there? or are you sticking some rice in its place?

When I got my car, all of that stuff was already gone. Lucky me. ;)

A T shirt or rag and a flat head screw driver always do the trick.
And some Goo Gone
