Nebraska/Minnsota Question

Anyone here live in the Omaha or Minneapolis area because next year I am probably going to either Creighton or Minnesota Twin Cities and I was just wondering if there are any cruising spots anywhere there, tracks, shops, etc. any info would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Grand Island, NE. It's about 2 1/2 hours from omaha. I'm not sure about the crusing spots but I know they have a few tracks.

I'm in the minneapolis area. Just north in a suburb - "Brooklyn Park." I know of one place, Anoka. They have street races on Fridays, but i never go cause they get busted right away.
There are a few shops, i've gone to one of them, but i can't remember the name off the top of my head. Give me a buzz when ever you get up here.

well I live in the south suburbs of MSP. I am from Nebraska, but no where near omaha. Know lots of fella's there, but most are now married and could careless about cruisin.

Here in MN we have a university. Every weekend night you will see thousands of people lined up to see oldies, muscle cars, imports, sometimes an exotic or two.

Most of the lots fill up buy style or genre of car. Of course the cops hit-up the imports first.

Anoka usually has races, but cops are a hassle. There are other places to go, but I dont race. Would rather keep my liscense. I just video everything. More fun that way.

If intersted there are several groups in town. I'm part of mnsportcompacts.net We are the largest growing club in MN. We are getting lots of recognition as being the "overall" car club. We have domestics, imports, old folks, young folks and attend a variety of events. Most of the senior of active members are part of other major clubs in the city or nationally like this site or ClubSi.
