well this is probably my last post until i get back...transportation came and picked up my computer and tv and stuff about 3 days ago so now i'm staying at a friends.....just wanted to say bye and that i'll talk to u when i get back...

wellllllllll cnn just said tonight that the 4th infantry division (my division) might not even go since turkey wont let us in and they dont wanna take our ships to kuwait cuz it's crowded and the 101st are alredy there...blah....wanna see some combat....

now according to cnn..........tyurkey is now allowing them in. grrrrrrrrrr,..................god i hate this freaking war shit! my best friend's mom is super stressed since he just re-enlisted. god i hope he is making wise choices.

Mate I hope that the taste of combat you get is no more then you can handle.

From my understanding of US combat operations in the middle east there is a very slim chance you will be gunning down Iraqi's. From what I've made out they plan on just bombing the shit out of the place, in which case you should return home safe and sound.

You will be in my prayers mate.... just dont get trigger happy on us.

hey rob i wont....we have ROE's (Rules Of Engagements) the closet i'll ever see is when they surrneder to get an MRE (meal ready to eat) and yes it did happen in 91....iraqi's would just throw down their AK's for an MRE...And we've been learning their language (damn it's hard)...but i wont see much combat ....who knows what going on...i dont
