if i did a engine swap in a crx would i still get a cold air in take and turbo for the crx or the car i got the engine from

I think for the engine....do custom turbo and piping...

You won't be running an out of the box cold air intake with a turbo. Most turbo kits come with the filter and the pipe to route the filter to it's correct location. You will have to custom fabricate a CAI for a turbo kit.
Also you will buy the turbo kit for the motor, not the car. Say you put a B16 in your CRX, you will buy a turbo for a B16. Not a CRX.

wouldnt you have to get the intercooler piping for a crx though?

yes, you would. But you would also have to specify that the car has a different engine then stock. If you tried to put a single cam intercooler kit on a CRX with a B16 I guarantee it won't fit. If you are going to turbo a car with a motor swap your best bet is to consult the manufacturer of the turbo and see what they recommend. After all they build the kits and do the research, so who better to trust.
