Do you plan on keeper your Accord for a long time?
Like forever.. (well almost..)
I sure will try to do so. I dunno, I just love my car. I guess you could say that it has a certain sentimental value.
Obviously at a certain point it wont be my daily driver anymore, but it'll still be thei in my garage. As a collector's item I guess.
30 Years from now, I'll see my baby, & I'll start to reflect on how things were when I was young (19)...
ahh Accord Man..
Popped of dream-land.. Class is starting..
So what do you guys and girls think? & What will peeps do?

Nuh just kidding. So if you'll be so full of cash, wouldnt you like to hold on to your Accord. I never said you couldnt have other cars..
Funny my little bro also thinks that he'll be getting my car..
But I dont think so.

edit: By the way, I didn't mean to come off sounding snobby b/c I'll be making good money... ::no::
Good point Accord Man, it would be nice to have a backup car for a daily driver. Don't get me wrong, I love my Accord, but there are just simply better things out there (performance wise). I guess I'll just have to see when I get to that point. There are lots of people being layed off in tech fields right now, so who knows if I'll even be able to find a decent job?

I think I'll have mine for quite awhile just for the sheer fact that it was my first new car. I love it!!!!! couldn't be happier w/ it. Now though comes all the aftermarket performance stuff..........so I think I'll definately have it until I HOOK IT UP!!! at least another 5-6 years I would think.

I see where you're coming from..
I guess it's because you and me, we have different levels of apprecitation of our cars.
I wouldnt worry too much about the tech field. It's one that fluctuates greatly in demand, but always remains quiet high. After all it is pretty much what leads towards the futur.

Oh come on man, I fully appreciate my car, but you're saying that if you had money for a nice M3 or something that you wouldn't purchase it? Even if you could keep the Accord as a daily driver?

M3, I dont dig very much..Let's say a Bentley! ;) (why not?!)
Well I would definately buy it. But I will try very hard to always hold on to my Accord. Even in very many years when it becomes an antique.
Occasionally, I'd pull it out of garage to take it for a spin..
You know what I'm saying?

the engine config is now a W16 provided by Audi, hence the newer badge of 16/4

hey demonic... correct me if im wrong but i believe that the bugatti is the fastest street legal car and is only running a lil under 800whp with the quad turbos.... but is more than capable of pushing over 1250whp.... and the tag for that is like 750,000.... i'll find the link to it.. but maybe were talking about different cars....
either way tho.... both are sweet as hell....::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

yeah, i'll keep it. I just love the style of the 4th gen. So flat, and so boxy but with round corners. i must say that i fell in love with that car after i came in the US 4 years ago. I love subaru's too, and if i had to choose between honda and a subaru i'll choose both ::yes:: . No matter what kind of car i'll afford later, after college i'll keep a honda just in case :D

I can certainly see myself keeping the Accord for a long time. I don't owe anything on it, and, by the time I'm out of school and driving all year again (instead of only the summer months right now), I'll be making enough money that the sentimental value will outweigh the car's monetary value. My only concern would be finding somewhere to store it.
Say I have kids when I'm around 30, and then I give my Accord to my son when he's 17 (same age I bought the car). It'll be 39 years old by then! Seriously classic!
does anyone use the actual chat room or do they just post back and forth
