biggest engine you can put in a 4th gen would be h22. a built b18 and a built h22 can make about the same amount of power though

the h22 can make more power in the long run if you go all out.

and i wouldnt even think about the h22 unless you know how to weld and want a problem with everything you do. i believe you have to move the firewall back. i'd say b18, even though i think theres still some clearence issues

the B18C5 integra type R motor is the largest motor you can sensibly drop in; bearing in mind that anything can be done to any car -id agree with whoever mentioned the B18, thats pushing close to 200hp

It depends on what you want to do to the engine after you drop it in. If you're looking to boost, the h22 doesn't take well at all to large psi's, aside from its other headaches. A b18C1 or a B16 would be a better choice. Toda racing also makes a stroker kit for the B16 that brings the displacement up to about 1.7xx

How about a B20, my friends got one in his CRX and he did it all in his drive way.;)
