isnt it the Civic EX for the 5gens?
A Greddy kit for it would be fine..stage 1 (basic) unless youre doing serious stuff other than daily driving it will be great.
The turbo manifold is like a turbo header...comes off the head and goes into the turbo itself (makes it spin) and it should come with the kit.
Greddy is a complete bolt-on as far as I know, so is Apexi', RevHard, FMax, and I hear JG Edelbrock has one coming out soon too. Complete kits with everything including some kind of FMU (Fuel Management Unit)...i think...if not you can get one from Vortech for a decent price

The stages in the turbo is just BS so that you spend more money ona greddy kit over a DIY kit.

^Id agree with this somewhat
Maybe its not needed for civics but if its an upgrade to a stage 2 for say an Eclipse or other stock turbo'd car then it is worth it

the guy at the place i am buying a kit from said at least a stage 3. and his kits are just 100 dollars more varying from stage to stage. so like 2,400.

nope...the turbo manifold replaces it...did you already buy a header? If you did and want to turbo I bet youre kickin yourself pretty hard for wastin the cash...i did...
ps:
(header: singular because its inline 4. if it were a v6 or av8 you'd have 2 of em so headers)

OK you got the engine stock right ? here is a rule of the thumb for turbos:
Stage 1: it can work with a stock engine
Stage 2: light internal work such as head work but a lot of tunning will do
Stage 3: Needs new internals to hanle the extra boost
Stage 4: More work than stage 3
