I just got back jogging and I am now the proud owner of a V-AFC. I was out jogging and I saw this guy with a wrecked Teg in my neighborhood. He was taking all his parts out, radio, amp, etc. Anyway, I started to talk to him and told him how I just wrecked my car too. We got to chatting and I mentioned that I just got a teg. All of the sudden he asked if I wanted to buy his V-AFC. I asked how much and he offered it for 100! I ran home, ran back to him with 100 in hand. I ran back with a 1 month old V-AFC with box, wires, and instuctions. How cool is that?! Now....I have NO IDEA how to install the damn thing...let alone know how to fine tune it. Anyone have any ideas? Any shops in the S. Cali area that specializes in installing these? I have heard something about dyno..I dont know what that is. I tried to catch the guy and ask him myself but I missed him. What do you think?

Actually, it does more than that.
Anyway, you need to dyno tune it to get best results, and that's $$$.

Here is a link to what all can be done with it... Also on this link they have the wiring diagrams for it. You got a great deal man, And it is something very useful. I'm looking into one right now too.

Dude, Alot of places have dynos. Anyway, Being in L.A you should be able to find places to wire that up for you and fine tune it. If you go to get on a dyno, runs are expensive so be prepared. But its true to fine tune it, thats what you need to do. You can get close if you know what your doing just by playing around, But to actually get it "Right", you need the dyno.

i guess we can all take somethin' from HondaTypeJ's experience...
Jog --> cheap parts..:yes:
you can always try that g tech thing to "dyno" your car... it may not be accurate but i'm sure you can use it to see if your mod made any improvement or loss power..
