Anybody here purchased an AEM Short Ram Intake for their civic? I'm just curious how much you paid for it.

I'm sure you guys have done this a million times but positive/negative feedback would be appreciated.

I got my short ram for $80, so is this a fair price?

another questions..aem intakes would NOT void warranty correct? i'm assumin' since it has a carb # that it wouldn't void the warranty, but i could be wrong.....

don't forget to write a feedback about my initial questions..;)

yes it CAN void your warranty.. NO ONE MAY believe it but ANY none OEM honda part CAN void your warranty... and ANYONE who does NOT believe that go read the WHOLE warranty.. they have loop holes for EVERYTHING....if your car is modded and they covered it.. they cut you a break..

and BTW.. carb numbers mean NOTHING other than they can pass a california smog test... EVERYONE thinks that makes them legal.. in a LOT of states they are legal, BUT the legality is NOT really based on a "carb number" that is really only for smog or polution testing....

well that goes to show that carb DOES NOT make it legal...wow, i learned somethin' new today..

as far as voiding the warranty, doesn't the aem intake count as a "replacement part" and therefore it doesn't void the warranty?..unless i've gone old and senile and talkin' out of my ass again..(no i don't really talk out of my ass so save the smarty remarks)

i think anything you do to the engine not using OEM parts is gonna void the warranty. But correct me if im wrong, if you mod the engine but the suspension or something breaks then they wont cover the suspension. My car has been off warranty for a while so it dosent concern me. I was just wondering
