you ever try to help a friend by giving them advice from experience you have had but they throw it back in your face and make you loko like an asshole. its happening alot lately. i try to tell my friends simple shit about cars and whatnot, because i have spent more money than i'd like to talk about on my car, and i dont wana see people do the same crap i did and have nothing but anger to show for it. same shit happens with everything i can think of. music, computers, skating, movies, women, even school shit... why do people refuse to take others advice? it feels like im trying to help a blind person through a maze and they wont follow me.

I have similar experience with a friend who is building a drag car but fortunatly he has not thrown it in my face at all. I jsut tell him things that will help him and he does the total opposite when ive been there are done that. I jsut forget about it and he will learn. The timeslip will speak for itself. Hope you can apply some of that to your situation.

my friend is looking into an engine swap(this was the final straw theres more instances) and he jsut dosnt listen to me at how much it will really cost. he's thinking he can buy the motor and drop it in and everything will be perfect(s14 sr20det into a s14 chasis). he's planning on spending 3000 for the swap

Its one of those things in life.. The only way to learn is through mistakes.. We all do it, some are just worse then others. Good luck with your friend/s.;)
