There shouldnt be anything electrical connected to your CAI. So I think they screwed something else up.

not true, on some cars the air sensor is hooked up in the bypass valve.. in mustangs i know it is at least..

Did you check to see if one of your blinkers burned out? The others will blink fast if that's the case...

you could have also grounded a wire if you had to move something when putting your CAI in. i'd check your connections

it probly has nothing to to with the cai, it just happened that your blinker burned out. When it goes fast that means that one of them are burned out, turn the flahser on and go check it

yea the only electronics in the CAI are the Air pressure sensor or whatever it's called and it's located no where near the headlights or turnsignals.

which ever side blinks fast is the one with a problem. Turn the blinker to the side that blinks fast and then go out and look at the fron and rear of that side and im willing to bet one of them isn't lighting up

Thats true. The air sensor in my old Civic was hooked into my CAI.

not to be a dick, but how do you know? you said yourself that you dont trust yourself to do any "engine stuff", so if you dont know anything about cai's how do you know that your air sensor is in there?

anyway, I'm pretty sure we can rule out that the cai has anything to do with a fast blinker (falls aout of chair laughing), so my guess is it was a coincince that it is either its time to go, or the installer broke or damaged the blinker. I'm pretty sure there is a blinker solenoid near your fuse box. you need to check that out.

he was showing me the cai setup after he installed it so yes i dont know how to install it but yes i know the is an air sensor bc he pointed to it and said this is the air sensor. Also with just my parking lites on that same side looks dimer than the other could this be a sign of a blinker goign?

well it being more dim than the other one does sound like its goin out..why not just switch the bulbs and see if it solves that sides problem...then if after switching bulbs the other side has the same problems they you know its the bulb and its time to change... this way its free
