I died my carpet today. it was a long process since I had to remove the carpet. Removed the seats most of the dash, but it wasnt that bad. I used a fabric spray paint from teh auto store. It looks really nice Im very impressed with myelf lol. Ill have pics up tomorrow. It got dark so I didnt get a chance to take them.

my lower tie bar comes in tomorrow so I should be a very happy person hehe.

Sorry no pics today hopefully tomorrow I wasnt able to get them from my friends camerea. But I used A fabric paint by plastikote that says for use on carpet. hehe I did my friends dodge neon too. We did his whole interior black with silver accents. We did his carpet too. Ill ahve pics tomorrow:)

also, how does it feel? i always woried if i dyed mine it be hard or it come off on my clothes (khaki pants draggin on the floor)

It doesnt really feel very ruff unless you globa place. About it getting on your clothes I think it should be okay once it drys for a day.

The interior looks tight! How did you paint the dash and door panels? I read that you can do it with spray paint. If you can, does it stay sticky or smooth, and what kind of paint do you use?

I used a vinyl spray pain by plastikote. It doesnt stay sticky at all. I covered it with a clear coat too. I just removed all the pieces that I painted not hard at all. One day when i get brave im going to remove them all agian and re vinyl them but thats expensive. Painting is soo much cheaper and easier.

No the clear coat wasnt made for vinyl, but I guess it works just fine.

MY seats are being shipped now as we speak:)

have u had any problems with it wearing away in any places (on dash and panels) just wondering i know a guy who had his consol done but it started to wear after a while
