you better call a shop early tomorrow man...thats the best thing that you can do...it will be faster than posting and hopin someone will know in time for you to get the car. Just call several shops and see what they'll charge to replace it...call a dealership too...in fact i'd call there first because theyre gonna have exactly what you need to fix/replace it

what are they saying is the problem? just a clutch? oem clutch will be about 100 bucks, but nice aftermarket ones go for 230-300. labor shouldnt be too much. I'd say maybe $400 bucks and a new clutch, all work done for you from a reasonable mechanic. I'm also assuming there arent any actually physical probs with trans. a new trans should run around 500 maybe.

New transmissions are a grip.
(Please see my response to your earlier post in which I explained all the prices for different options.)

OEM clutch from honda was closer to $250 + around $300 labor from 2 different honda shops. An aftermarket ACT with a good deal on parts ran me around $340 + $325 labor I believe. You could probably find the labor for cheaper, but good luck finding cheaper parts unless you go with a company that builds "OEM replacements".

yeah, I could have been thinking of a non honda oem replacement. If anything I would just go with an ACT clutch, the stage 1 or whatever the one is that is one step above "oem". although those kevlar ones are pretty tempting.
anyway, I thinking he's having other trans issues. you may want to try like hap recycling, see if they have a used trans for you. cheaper.
