Girls, how many of you get REALLY REALLY UNCONTROLLABLY cranky around 'that time of the month'?

Why I ask is b/c I don't, and I don't know many gals that do... I really think this is unfair to have guys put this on us like "O, it's her time of the month". I'm almost offended by that.

However, I know that there ARE those girls who exist who get just evil. My aunt is 1 of them. She has to stay at home alone since she was in the grocery store w/her husband (on her "time") & he said that they didn't have any peanut butter at home & she went berzerk... Hopped on his back, started punching him in the face and scratching that shit out of his eyes:paranoid:

I know I'm not a girl and all, but I just can't resist pitching in my pennies.

I've known girls where you wouldn't know unless she told you. I've known others that are uncontrollably emotional and will cry at just about anything....and of course I've known some downright b*tches when Aunt Flo comes into town.

I do want to comment, though, that I have known some girls who use it as an excuse. I hear lots of girls complain about the usual male "it's her time of the month" statement, but it's not all just guys. There are some rotten apples in the bunch of girls who just use it as an excuse to be b*tchy. You can tell these by the ones that are too dumb to use the excuse more than 1 week out of a month, or who are totally sweet for 3 months straight and then are superb*tches out of the blue and claim "it's my PMS." Yeah, sure it is.....

The Depo shot really isn't all that great. At least from the girls I know that I have been on it have had a lot of problems with it. Lots of migraines and weight gain (the one girl gained like 30lbs in less than a yr because of it) have been the 2 main ones.

I wouldn't say that I get extremely ***** or emotional around my time. I get really bloated though which could make me bitchy and emotional cuz I can't fit into anything like 4 days before it comes. And if I'm really crampy (which isn't every time) then I tend to be bitchy for like the first day of it. I'm one of those "lucky" ones though that it only last like 5 days and after the middle of the 2nd day it's practically non-exsistent.

OH and Chris...I pegged you as a bitchy one around that time of the month.

Yea, about that shot thing...I've heard that girls who are on it for extended periods of time actually develop a smell...

It's a natural thing for our bodies to get rid of all that junk & actually...it's good for it.:yes:

Well, I heard that, actually from an X of mine. He said his X-g/f & 1 of his buddies g/f's developed that smell.

He said it sux to be kinda 'barred' for 3-4 days, but he'd rather his g/f get rid of the junk that keep it & have it turn into smell...:loco:

Well I just got out of the shower....and was thinking about this thread because I realized that besides 2 things I really like being a girl....The two things that suck complete ass is getting my period and shaving. And I think I would rank shaving higher on the "sucks ass" list than I would getting my period.:loco: I hate to shave...but besides soceity telling me that I have to, I can't stand body hair....so I really have to do it then. It just sucks. (sorry about the little rant there...)

there is a relationship between the "smell" and deppo. My ex went on the shot and well... :pukey

The pill is alot better then the shot... stay away from the shot if you're a girl and thinking about it. And no boyfriend should encourage their girlfriend to go on it, i wont list all teh side effects but really the benifit of her having 7more days for sex is nothing compaired to the other days that have now been ruined.... imo

Yah I hate the feeling of hairy legs too...I guess that's why I hate shaving so much. It's like something I MUST do just so I don't feel all nasty. Some days I just wanna be lazy ya know...

Getting you're "red wings" is not something I am interested in doing. I know a few guys who have had sex with their gf's durring "that time of the month" and i dont think of them the same way since they told me.

There are solutions to stop a girl from getting her period though I would recommend any girl trying them out.

yes Quin I believe that we are the most avid girl posters on HS....I can't say that I'm a hottie though. Thats for everyone to decide on their own. I think I can hold my own alright though.

I really don't see anything wrong with having sex on your period. If it's right when you start, and flowing heavy as hell, no thanks, but near the end, or on a light day, it's not that bad. Given the one girl I've done it with, who means the world to me doesn't bleed that much, and it was on one of her lighter days, but I don't know about a heavy day, I might not wanna do that.

About the pulling out the tampon with the teeth......THAT'S F*CKING SICK!!!! Anyone who goes down on a girl while ragging, or even goes down there like that at all is seriously messed up.

well its not like sometimes there isn't clear fluids that you get on you when the girlfriend gets really worked up but theres something about BLOOD that just creeps me out. Maybe its just me but I think blood during sex would scare the crap out of me. If this was to ever happen to me the first though on my mind would be OMG did i rip her up? Which would be very disturbing, probably stop me from having sex for a few weeks... for some people its not even a question of if to try it or not.. we know its not an option.

Ok...thought I had made it pretty clear why I wouldn't...but here we go again short and sweet. I personally feel dirty when I have my period. Bleeding all day long for 5 days straight just doesn't make me feel clean...no matter how many times I shower. I just feel disgusting. Wow, Interesting conversation. Those saving private ryan scenes aren't too sexy. Last night was my mate's "heavy day" and she was really riled up and ready to go. Yea last year my girl friend was told by doctors that she had a disease called wegners (where ur immune system attacks the rest of ur body). Well she had to take chemo to lower her immune system, and for fear the chemo would make her become unable to get pregnant in the future they gave her that shot. It totally shuts down a females ovaries. But it does have a side affect of weight gain but not that much at all.

sorry bout yer gf. hm, i can't have kids either.. but no chemo or anythin. i was sick when i was little blah blah blah that's the way the cookie crumbles. :|

I think my room mate has that "smell". It is REALLY bad. My room is right across from hers and my door is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS shut. lol. She leaves her room door wide open and I have to hold my breath when I get near it and close it. Seriously, I am NOT kidding it is totaly like this. My other room mate (a guy) couldnt figure out what it was until we asked a few of our girl friends to come and take a whiff. They said that that is most likely what it is...ew. You know it is really bad when you turn on the central heating and the smell seeps through the air vents and into your room. Id rather freeze to death.
