alright, im pretty excited right now. im 21, and ive been a car salesman for a little over 3 years now( i know i know!) but ive been making good money doing it, making no less than 45k each year. working off of commission is pretty scarey, especially when bills like for the apartment and such are due each month, and you NEVER know when a bad month is gonna hit you. im in college also, so that takes most of my time . well, this morning i was just informed that i have been promoted to head finance manager at the dealership!!!! ill have a promised salary now(65k a year) and no more commission or dealing with people who want a brand new celica for 2 dollars a month!!! wooo-hoo! i guess this promotion is what happens when you lead a dealership in sales EVERY month since you started....:cool: ah well, im excited and wanted to share. Supra twin turbo here i come!!! :)

HAHA! sad thing is, that isnt too far from what people actually expect sometimes. i could swing the 0% financing thing right now..... just about everywhere is doing that now cause the business has been REAL slow since Sept.11, which is understandable. i could probably hook ya up with payments around a dollar fiddy if you are HOT...;) just so you dont have to take yo bizness elsewhere! j/k

Its a great feeling isn't it? The only thing I've encountered with being young & getting a position of authority is that people in the same age range don't neccessarily take you seriously.

thanks man. most all the people here take me serious i guess...ive been here long enough i know that! dukmahsik told me he saw where the average job life of a car salesman was 6 months...i did the crap for 3 years!!! im just glad now i dont have to deal with working for commission and all the BS that goes back and forth.
