alright i have been told by both a sherif and a regular pig that neons on the outside of a car are not illegal unless they flash or are directly on either bumper so like licence plate frames are a no no.....and tire flys are illegal...aslong as the dont blink on the out side of the car your fine....the inside can look like a rolling disco and they cant say a damn thing.......

best way to find out thought is just ask a COP.....not a sherif.....cause sheriffs dont really care...

do what i did and just roll up to one and ask him or go into the police station

Might be better to look up the law (the MVC is on the BMV website, I think), since enforcement is sure to vary from county to county.

That's what I did. Just find the laws themselves, that way you don't have to go through the personal opinions of the cops.

where i live
you can have neon underbody kits as long as the bulb itself is not visible.
license plate holder bulbs are ok, windshield washer lights are ok, as long as they arent blue or red, the valve cover lights on your tires are ok, and they dont care about strobes if your parked and at a car show or something like it. down here at the local hangout theres like 300 cars that show up so the cops dont care if your strobes are on
