Ok i am like 98% sure myc ar is a 1991 because that is what i was told when i bought it LOL...but working at GM the year of the trucks is printed on the drivers side door jam and the year is always one year BEHIND the year it "is". So inother words if it says "DATE 01" it is actually a 02....is this the same with older Hondas like mine?

hmm...i dont know that sounds reasonable...I know the date is printed on my washer fluid container though...only because i just took it off 3 days ago lol

on the rear door jamb it will say the date of production of the car. mine is may 17th 1992

run a carfax report, it wont tell you about your title, but it will say what year make and modle the car is

My old datsun said 1979 on the door, but it was a 19080. So i know what you mean.l

The date of manufacture is often the previous year of the car model. I think IIRC, that the production of the next car year starts around October. This means if the date of manufacture was 11/02, it is actually a 2003 model. That is why you see the new cars show up on the lots before the new year.

yep. my cars parts were all made in 1989. Mine is a 1990
