I have been looking forward to this game for a looooong time. I already have cash set aside from my car fund (which was hard to do) to get the network adapter and Automodellista. And actually, the new graphic style, called "cel shading" will allow for a lot more freedom in animation and smoother overall graphics. Those arent' the best screenshots, trust me, it will look a lot better when it comes out. I have played plenty of cel shaded games, and it looks a lot better than you would think. ;)

yall gotta except the cell shaded look of this game. capcom doesnt want to be like everyone and have "realistic" looks. Its a japanese game so i think it puts a japanese taste to it. The graphics are like jetset radio future. Trust me guys its worth gettin'. then we can brag about who has a better car on the game and possibly have a new forum for the game. You can talk about when you wanna race, what you got on your car, etc...

The only thing i wont like about it is that i heard that capcom is letting Sega take over the online servers, which in turn sucks because NFL 2K3 online you cant use your gameshark keyboard so when you are in the lobby. On Socom U.S. Navy Seals you can and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 you can. Unless Sega makes their games keyboard compatable you can expect to be using the screen keyboard, which takes forever to 3 words.

yall can get more pics at ign.com and search for automodellista

thanks for listening and i hope i changed your mind about the cell shaded graphics.

Uh, you need the cable modem :D How else would it get the network signal? You'll need a router to split your connection from your computer too.

i wasnt sure if u had to hook up with a special service with ps2 straight out of the phone line. Guess my second question would be what is the charge from sony or do u just have to buy there little modem or w/e???

You're buying a network adapter, not a modem. You know how you have a little cat5 slot where you plug your cable modem in your computer? You need the same type of thing for your PS2.
