To all my people riding with about 1cm off the ground I have a question. Is it me or did my smooth ride go out the window with my soft stock springs? If you have your whip dropped 1.5' or better let me know what your ride feels. I have stock brushings, stock bumpstops, tokico blue shock and eibach adj. springs. My civic is dropped 2'. The ride is fine on a smooth road but the slightest bump sends my moms flying out the passenger seat. If you've ever driven in NYC then you know what I mean.

I noticed a definete ride quality loss. I was dumb when I lowered my car and didn't upgrade the shocks though...that's very soon

same here. im not too bothered because growing up, my dad drove a suzuki samarai. and those things anciently have no shocks whatsoever lol. it aint too bad. just going over speed bumps with a lowered car is like going over whole sidewalk curbs with a non lowered car.

lowered 2". Horrible ride quality, Hopefully I can slap on my stock struts/springs (i lost the dust cover..) so when other people take it for a test drive, they'll buy it ;)

i love my car. the front is sitting 2" lower and the rear about 1.75"

ever got a ride in a bimmer ? that's how it rides. the bumps and holes have to be really big to feel something

mine are stiff but thats how i set them. bumps are clearly more noticable but i think it makes it sportier. when i drive parents or someone i want to impress...i make it softer for em...but then i put it right back to the stiffer ride;)

i put neuspeed race springs on the fat bit*h droped her 2.25
all way rides like when i drove it home the 1st day but better handling

Ive noticed a small change in ride quality, but not much and nothing to complain about, by the way, H&R's lower 1.8" front, and 1.5" back.

i dropped my bmw 2 in the front and 1.8 in the rear with sportlines...the ride quality is still pretty nice....

I'd recomend getting eibach prokits...

the adjustable (gc's I'm assuming) are linear rate springs like the sportlines... only worse because by dropping the car your are further compressing the spring reducing the rate even further...

the prokits have progressive rates.. which means the have soft coils (like you stock springs) which respond to bumps and potholes... AND stiff coils (like your gcs/sportlines) for the more aggresive driving and corners...

Usually even if you've loaded up the pro-kits and hit a bump the softer coils tend to absord the shock...

I had them on my sentra and I can't say enough about them.
