I was gonna change my oil today. I bought some Quaker state high mileage an oil dran pan filter and wrench and when I got the car up on ramps and got underneath it. I started to pull on the lug nut and the damn thing was stuck on there real well. I tried for like 15 min to get the thing off and it wouldnt budge looks like the stupid oil monkeys tightened it a little too tight. So I cant get it off. Man I was pissed off. I spent all this time and such and I have nothing to show for it. Sorry just had to rant a little bit.

I don't let anyone else change my oil, but myself ......I've heard too many horror stories and it's cheaper.

Well depends where you go. Speedy around here is pretty good. Plus the problem here is that I don't know where to recycle the oil afterwards...I mean I don't want to just throw it away. That is really bad for the environment.

most of the stores here in cleveland will take the old oil for you, and then filter it and prepare it, then they turn it into their own brand.
