View Full Version : Diff btween coilovers and "springs with threaded collars"?

Someone said that there was a big difference between these, but I don't know what it is. How can you tell which is which?

True coilovers have a threaded shock body and are a matched spring/strut (shock) combo.
Coilover sleeves require an aftermarket strut but can still be height adjusted.

Oh, I thought the sleeves in the pictures were coilovers and the pic of the coilovers was juss coilovers with shocks...guess ME was wrong...:paranoid:
