My car... so far

Hey you guys! I'm posting some pics of my car to see what you think of it, or to see if you have any suggestions on what I should do next. Being a chick, the guys around my area don't think either (a) girls shouldn't fix their cars up or (b) girls shouldn't drive better lookin' cars than me :pfft: so they don't help much with advice. so here ya go... what do ya think so far... and yes, before you say it... my next investment is going into new wheels

Thanks guys! Errr... I know, the hubcaps, only temporary, but they still throw it all off. The rims will be on in a couple of weeks, I'm going with 16" MR7's, but can't decide painted silver or painted white. Any thoughts on that? And the tails, altezzas aren't that common around here, (REALLY small town) so it's still kinda for the heads turning, but I'm thinking of going to the red and clears soon.

For the white, I just used gloss white Plastikote Vinyl/Fabric Color. It works really well on the plastic pieces; with the doors and bigger pieces, you have to really, really, take your time. As for the blue, I used royal blue fabric (it's royal, the picture didn't really do the blue justice) and cut it and glued it.

As for the rims, I'm still stuck between the white and the silver Motegi's. Yeah, I really like the white, but would that be TOO much white :hmmm: I still have a week though

white rims. that silver does not have anything to go with. also if u wanna be a bit different reomve the tailights, open them up and pain them white where the chrome is. it will look supernice, and nobody is gonna have them.

Thanks HondaChick! It took me almost a month to do the interior, and I'm still not done. That was having to do a few pieces at a time though. I did all the painting and taking apart the interior myself, except for the couple of times I had to call good ol' dad when I couldn't figure out how to get a piece off... or back on :rolleyes:
But most of the stuff I've done as far as modding goes, I learned right here!;)

Okay, I finally got my rims!!! I went with the white MR7's. It looks sweeeeet :yes:
I'm putting the finishing touches on the interior now, I'm painting the custom sub enclosures and just got the white and blue carpets for my trunk. As soon as I get my brother back over with his digicam, I'll have the pics of the final product!

oc civic, its a work in progress, as is almost everyone's car... I am not a fan of honda products at all, but I do commend her on the nice interior. Im much more a go than show guy, but when I see something done clean, I gotta give props. Get rid of those altezzas, black tint, lower/rims and itll be hot!:eek:

well maybe you shouldn't call peoples cars ass cuz Im more than sure your car wasn't hott when you first starting working on it or watever...secondly no matter what she really does with her car its her own taste and she should be commended for that because not too many GIRLS have and could do what she has done with her civic...so why don't you lighten up on her...

the interior IS ok.... ok at best IMHO, BUT theres nothing else to it.. and when i've gone into auto zone to buy an air filter, yes i know the part number, i know exactly which one i need, it takes three male employees to come and ask if i know what i'm looking for... then the cashier asks if i'm sure this is the right one, did my boyfriend tell me which one to buy, blah, blah, blah

Surfing is so much better anyway lol. I still skateboard, just on a Sector Nine longboard. Oh ya, and I sing in a hardcore band. What more could you want??

Where are you located?

Well it depends I guess. I have been here in Sarasota (45 minutes south of Tampa) since September so I'm still trying to figure out how the swells affect certain spots. But of course we get hurricane swells in the summer and we know what the potential for that can be dpending on the strength, location and course of the storm.

But in the winter when we get low pressures moving through the state we typically get a ground/windswell that ranges anywhere from waist to head high. I have seen bigger but usually it's victory at sea, blown out and cold as balls (if you're a Florida boy like me).

I'm originally from the Cocoa Beach area on the east coast so getting used to the Gulf coast has been a bit rough. It's never as consistent over here. Swells can come and go in a day and you would never know it because of passing fronts and the inability for the Gulf to hold a decent swell for any amount of time.

But to answer your question, yea we get waves anywhere from waist to chest to occasionally head high + about once every couple of weeks in the winter and whenever we get a hurricane swell in the summer.

It's not completely flat here all the time, as some might think. But if you are used to head high + every day, this would be considered a shithole.

Well I like you interior, custom interior is always good. I'm intrested in doing mine with a silverish look. But i'm too much of a wuss to screw up. So does anyone in Southern Cali wanna make some quick cash if they know what they are doing lol?

Anyways, for you exterior I can't say much for the hubs, but I read couple pages later that you have rims now.

If your going to do so much work to make your car different in the inside then I say you should put some work on making your car look less stock on the outside too.

My car is pretty much stock (saving up mone for swap) except I have rims, and its lowered (not ricey lowered) I have real springs.

I've never liked chromish hubs, it looks like someone is tryingot cover the fact that they dont have rims lol Thats my honest opinion.

I don't like the interior too much, but thats persoanl preference. Glad you got rims, now drop it, Type R lip kit, and JDM headlights. BTW, DAMN you are hot! Georgia sucks though. I went to Warner-Robbins with a friend and had to get out of that place!!!!!
