after months of drooling over the new flatpanels i finally got one! before i had a stock gateway icky 14 or 15". now i have my awesome samsung 15" and i love it! gotta love daddy's and xmas!

I want a flat screen monitor...I have a 13" viewable screen now. It's terrible

a96, i think thats what i had too.........thank god its all gone! this one is on sale for 300 at best buy and its actually pretty good, i am impressed.

yeah flat screens rock. i love my laptop's LCD. next week i might get a new computer with a 21" monitor

Nice! I want a flat panel, but the ones that are good for gaming are still too expensive for me.

same... for now im stuck with my 17' viewable flat screen(not flat panel)

hell yea if you want one for gaming (that actually has good resolution without pixel loss) then you gotta spend the $$$ best buy has a 15" LCD for sale at 200 after like a 90 dollar mail in rebate (fluckin rebate bullsh!t)

A $290 LCD probably won't cut it... it has to have a rise and fall time of 25ms or less or you'll see ghosting. Also, cheap LCDs have high dot pitch that doesn't make a nice picture.

Screw flat-screens, they are over-rated... I picked up my 19" (17.9" viewable) monitor last year for about $200, and is great quality... with 200 bucks you are looking at maybe a 7" screen:-P

I disagree. Flat screens (not LCD, but CRT) are very nice compared to normal screens.

lol, yeah i gotta say its nice to be spoiled but i honestly am not that much spoiled. i have a good job, and i work hard for everything that i have. i also do tons of charity stuff.

dont get me wrong i get lots of little things but well ya,.... i understand i work my butt off also for the things that i have.
