well as you all know i had a gf for the past month or so. i met her at one of my friends party and she was the one that started it all. She asked me out, she was "crazy" about me. It all went fine till last thursday, when she decided to call it off on me. She started something like "don't get upset, but i really need to talk to you. you know things with my parents are rough, and i have a hardtime keeping up with all the things in my life, so i hope we will stay friends, you and me still share our stories, talk on the phone, go out toghether with our group of friends, but i'm can't see you anymore as a boyfriend". Usually i don't talk too much, so i'm like yeah fine if that's what you want i don't wanna cause you any problems, knowing the situation with her stepdad. Also she was talking about going back to Romania and she didn't want to get involved more than this  . i know for sure she won't go back there, but i'm just trying to understand why the hell all of a sudden ?????

sometimes things happen all of a sudden... or you dont pick up on things in between the lines which makes it then seem like its all of a sudden

Damn Stefan, sorry to hear that. Who knows why people do what they do? Maybe she was dropping subtle hints along the way, or maybe she just decided one day that she needed a change.
Is it going to be totally over for sure, or would you get back with her if you could? Have you talked to her since?

That sounds like a pretty clean break then. If you're happy like this, the all's well, right?

See, I can't understand things like this, or any of the explanations given here. Sorry to add more worries or complications to this, but I personally wouldn't pull something like that unless I'd met someone else & I was trying to let the other person down gently.
Heh..that might just be me. ;)

I dont believe there is any easy way to let a person down. If the woman can't tell you straight up whats going on she aint worth your time. That said she might be telling you straight up, and we all just think shes being a *****. Only you can tell how she really is, but take into consideration she might value your friendship more then anything.

i really don't know what to think about this. i tallked to one of her best friends about this and she told me her stepdad is a biatch. also i asked the opininon of somebody else (i was mad about her, but her dad was a biatch too) and she said that with parents like that is better to call it off, cause it will get worse and worse

Um....I might be the weirdo here...but what could her parents possibly have to do with this? Unless they hated you or something. I mean...if there's a health risk involved then yea, I can see that. :paranoid:

Dude sounds to me like you got out in good timing. If she plays the parents and distance card on you then forget about it. Distance is never an issues, things can always be worked around ;). If you too really hit it off, why wouldn't you make it work? I dam well know i would, maybe she just wants friendship. As for the parents thing, thats pure BS, if her parents dont like the person she likes/loves (whatever you wanna name it) then its their problem. No good parents would be like that. I think you should just try to get over her, unless of course there was a major click there and then you should get off the net and find your way over to her part of town and start talking to her. Dont let a good one get away, but just the same dont get hug up on a bad one.

   nice way of putting it rob....and not overly blunt like normal...I am impressed!!!
yah Stefan...I'm sorry again to hear about the break up...but if she's usin "BS" lines such as her parents and "life stresses" as a reason to break up then you're better off not being with her and just chillin as friends. Don't let things get weird between the 2 of you either. It is possible to remain friends with your ex. Just roll with the punches....
