dome light

I went to all the websites and manuals and all and they said that the dome light for a 95 civic coupe is a 3175...but when it came in the mail it was a tad too big and it said 12V10W instead of 12V8W like the bulb that the car came with says. I can make the new bulb fit in the housing...but will there be any problems?...is 10W within the operating parameters of the light fixture itself?

I also looked at other sites and the smaller bulbs (3022) are also 12V10W.

nah i wouldn't be worried about 2 w difference

i got the same thing in my car, the old was the 8 and new was 10. just bend the little prong things a tiny bit and put it up there. it wont hurt
