Ive been playing with the idea of installing a keyless entry system into my 01 Honda Civic LX. The Car did come with power locks. How hard is the installilation procedure to get the module in? Does the module just plug into some central computer, or do I have to wire the key less system directly into the locks? Would I have to disassemble the interior door panels to do this? (I hate doing that?) Any general tips?

yeah you will have to take the door panels off and tap in the wires for the power locks. also the powerlocks module is in the driver's door

it sounds worse than it is. If you already have power locks, things are soooo easy for you. Find out where those wires go. you may not have to take your door panel off, just follow the wires from the door to a point thats easy to tap. Research what you need to do first, but its about as easy as installing an alarm, if not easier.

You Do Not need to Take off the door Panels
I did mine on my 02 Civic
It's easy...
There is a Hole existing in the fire wall already,
you simply get up under your dash to find the wires for Unlock and Lock,
you can find them at www.2k1civic.com they have all the wire charts,
and you feed the power supply through the fire wall
and zip tie, the unit up under the dash some where..

EASY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
