omg i just got this letter in the mail from the police department saying to contact them. they have tried to contact me by phone but have been unsucessfull and for me to call this detective. i am scared shitless cuz i have done nothing wrong except for screwing with that eclipse. omg omg omg omg......i dont need anymore trouble! and it isnt a witness to anything cuz i havent been in hat town very much lately.

o wow this reminds me one time when i got home with my mom and there was a message from my town's police department. some officer asking if my mom could call him back as soon as possible. and what does my mom immediately do after listening to the message. she looks at me all pissed and says, "what did you do?!!?!" but the guy was just calling to see if we wanted to donate money. i got scared though because i wasn't sure if i did anything wrong or not.

but back to your thing. around my area if you do something wrong, the police department sends you a citation in the mail. then you have to bring that citation back to that department. and they tell you what you did. i had it happen to me one time

If it was something really bad, they would not have sent you a letter...they would have picked you up and hauled you to jail...

Don't sweat it buddy. Try having the cops calling your house at 3am and telling your parents they have you in custody and they have to come down to the station to get you. Good point. If they wanted you on criminal charges, they wouldn't mess around. They might want you for a witness in the Eclipse case. If he tried to rat you out, they might know who you are.

Oh, ok. The tool in the Elclipse was probably trying to nark you out too! It's their worg against yours though. Because the cop would've ticketed you at the time if he saw it. I was in a situation similar to that one time too. But it was when I was 16 and I had just started driving and some ass ran me off the road. I sped up and tried to catch him because I was raging pissed and he wouldn't get out of the car so I kicked his car (not the smartest move) and got his plate number and went to the police and they would not do anything because they did not witness it.

a few weeks ago i was ina bp. and went to buy cigarettes for my bf, welli didnt have my liscense on me so he came in to buy them and teh damn idiots would not sell them to us..we are both 23.!

so i being pissed stressed(grandfather just died) said to them......as for the "law" you shoudl stick to your polocies full time. i know you sell underage, i work for a xxxx police offfvcer and i will have you guys investigated. " well the guy was pissed and he tried telling teh cops that i was impersonating an officer. in reality i never ever said i was an officer (i take care of an officers kid) and i was dressed in dress clothes and never showed any badge! sooooooooo that impersonating an officer crap is total bullshit just trying to get revenge. whatever.......even if it goes to court they will laugh and dismiss the charges. sooooooooo nooooooooo more being scared for me.

and please everyone lets boycott BP!!!!!!

cops lie to get people to confess....

if they have a tape they have to show it to you before you go to court. It's evidence that you are allowed to review BEFORE the trial...

If you request it and they don't give it to you the case gets kicked out of court...

If you see it and it shows you saying you were a cop... you didn't present false ID (I hope) so it's really not that big of a deal... chances are the DA will be reasonable... if not the chances of any court putting a felony conviction on a first time offender are just about nil...

how old are you? if you've never been in court before chances are this will get laughed out of court.

thanks i forgot about the fact that i can review teh tape befor ehand. no i never presented any id. i am 23 and our courts are really messed up! money talks around here. ever hear mof jim traficant, the guy in congress that g0t busted for bribes, well he was our congress man. anywasy i have decided not to stress about it and just let things go there way. as for talking to the cops, i am going to tape all phone conversations from now on that way they can not lie. if they refuse taped conversations they will have 2 choices talk thru my lawyer (memo to self.....get one tomorow) or correspond via postal service.
